To Our Valued Prairie State Gaming Location Partners,
With only two crucial days left in the IL legislative session, lawmakers Springfield are working to identify ways to fill the budget gap and pass a revenue plan for the state.
Although no one knows how things will shake out, gaming expansion and further taxes to Video Gaming Terminals are on the table for consideration.

Both solutions, including a potential new Racino in Decatur and the advent of iGaming would hurt small businesses and disrupt bar and tavern operations at a time of great economic uncertainty in the state. The cost of doing business is going up already and the last thing we need is to make it harder for local businesses to survive.

Please take some time to contact your legislator and ask them not to balance the budget on the backs of the bar and restaurant industry - which has given so much to the state of Illinois and to local governments.
